Why Donate?

It should be no surprise that our frameworks of justice are imperfect. Systematic racism means thousands of mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters are wrongly incarcerated every year. Whether it be George Allen, falsely convicted on for murder with a manipulative interrogation, or Raymond Towler, who served 29 years for an assault and kidnapping he was unassociated with, wrongful convictions rob people of their time, dignity, and very lives.

The Innocence Project is an initiative founded in 1992 that fights for those who have been illegitimately placed behind bars. Of course, finding DNA evidence, hosting speaker events, and supporting the exonerated financially demands resources and funding. Donations make the work of the Innocence Project possible.
